FKM O-ring seals
FKM fluoroelastomer O-rings are used for sealing in contact with oils, fuels and selected chemicals, including applications with elevated temperatures. Compound and cure-system selection affect media compatibility and low-temperature behavior.

- Custom cross-sections and larger rings produced to the application.
Production and inspection
Compounding is followed by compression or injection molding, curing, deflashing and dimensional, hardness and visual inspection. Water-polish finishing may be selected for parts where debris control is relevant.
Application selection
Consider the actual fluid, continuous and transient temperatures, groove geometry and required compression. FKM compound performance varies; a material name alone does not establish compatibility with every chemical.
