Silicone sheet materials
Silicone (VMQ) sheets are flat elastomer materials produced by calendering, extrusion or molding. SEAL supplies solid and foam forms for sealing, cushioning and electrical or thermal-insulation components.
Solid and foam options
Solid sheets offer airtightness and compression resistance. Sponge sheets provide a lighter and softer structure for cushioning, gap filling and insulation. Select the form, hardness and thickness according to the application.
Converting capabilities

- Adhesive lamination and combinations with other flexible materials.

Design considerations
Silicone is used for temperature-sensitive and insulating applications. Its limited oil resistance and comparatively modest abrasion and mechanical strength should be considered when selecting the material. Confirm performance with the selected grade.
