Material and function
EVA is a lightweight foam used for cushioning, impact protection and gap filling. The foam density and adhesive system can be selected around the surfaces and compression in the assembly.

Manufacturing and customization
Materials can be supplied as tape rolls, strips or converted shapes. Adhesive backing and lamination are selected around the substrate, bond requirement and installation.
Design considerations
Select the material grade for contact media, operating temperature and mechanical loading. Include the installed compression, mating surfaces and expected service conditions when reviewing the component. Confirm performance using the selected compound and a representative sample.
