Silicone molded components
Silicone (VMQ) is processed into seals, gaskets, sheaths and custom parts by compression molding and selected injection processes. The material is used where temperature range, electrical insulation and weathering behavior matter.
Design and manufacturing

Where it fits
Typical applications include electrical insulation, temperature-sensitive sealing and cushioning. Silicone has limited resistance to many oils and generally lower mechanical strength than several other rubber families; choose the compound for the actual media and loading.
